Sea Palace x Warrior Shanghai
Posted by Stijn van de Ridder on
When we reach the bridge leading up to the impressive floating restaurant, it’s darker and more quiet than we’re used to. Sea Palace, capable of providing 600 people with steamy dim sum baskets, is nearly empty. A hard pill to swallow for the people behind the extraordinary restaurant – still opened every day. Following our previous collaboration with Hoi Tin, Warrior Shanghai is now partnering up with the people behind Sea Palace and releasing a custom clothing line. The design of the items is inspired by the iconic red neon letters on the roof, which have always been a small beacon of China in Amsterdam. In the run-up to the release of the collection, we met with owner Kaji But...
Den Of Souvenir x Warrior Shanghai
Posted by Warrior Shanghai on
For our latest collaboration, we teamed up with Chang Mai based publishing house, souvenir shop and clothing store Den Souvenir. We’ve been amazed by their wide variety of cool and weird items for a while now, so we’re proud to present this capsule. The collection consists of a t-shirt, a cap and a candle and the design draws from traditional Thai horoscopes, mixed with our motto: ‘international friendship’. We asked them a couple of questions. - What is the story behind Den Souvenir? Can you tell us a little about the shop started? The simple way to describe Den souvenir is an independent book and souvenir store. The idea behind it is that I just wanted to curate a cool...
ORDER Si-chuan x Warrior Shanghai
Posted by Warrior Shanghai on
Located on the second floor of SEXYLAND World is a very colorful restaurant: ORDER Si-chuan. For this new initiative Amsterdam based collective ORDER united with the people behind the iconic Sichuan restaurants. Now, Warrior Shanghai is proud to present a collection in honor of this unique partnership. The collaboration between ORDER and Si-chuan stems from a long friendship between the two companies based in the red-light district. Together they made the menu featuring a small selection of some classic and some new dishes from the extensive Si-chuan menu. Add in natural wine and you get ORDER Si-chuan. The collection, consisting of a cap and t-shirt, draws inspiration from the mountainy landscape of Sichuan, with a subtle nod to the mural...
WIKSET x Warrior Shanghai

To celebrate Wiki’s new album 'Half God’, Warrior Shanghai and Wiki teamed up for a very special project. Based on his Puerto Rican/Irish roots and Warrior Shanghai being China Town’s favourite sneaker since the 80’s, we designed a collection featuring a pair of shoes, a hat and a tee. ... Wiki has become a fixture of New York City Hip Hop since he founded the boundary defying group Ratking at 17 years old. The aggressive style represented a new generation of city kids and artists hungry for innovation and raw energy. The epicentre of Wiki and the group's artistic expression was Chinatown, NYC. Ratking’s breakout single was called “Canal” named after the iconic, bustling Chinatown street, where boroughs collide and...
